Overview
Bridgetown Consulting Incorporated (BCI) was created in July 2004. BCI’s Management team has been working
in IM/IT since 1987 with both the Canadian Federal Government and
International clients. The BCI mission is to provide first quality
informatics consulting services in the field of information management
(IM).
BCI
interprets IM to include: Content Management, Knowledge Management,
Document and Records Management, Workflow, Forms and Imaging – all of
these disciplines generate documents of some type, documents which must
be managed throughout their lifecycle. BCI has over twenty years
experience in the IM field including more than ten years with the RDIMS
shared system initiative.
 BCI has skilled
resources in all areas of information management. Many of our Associate
Consultants have been implementing the Canadian Federal Government shared
system initiative RDIMS (Records, Document Information Management System)
since 1998. We fully understand the business, functional and the
technical requirements for an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) System
– a trait we pride ourselves on and one that is not always found in
technology services companies.
Our IM consultants are fully trained on the principals, products,
methodologies, and practices of ECM systems. This training is in addition
to the experience and knowledge they possess about general document and
records management within government and industry. Our implementation
methodologies for EDRMS and Imaging are comprehensive and effective:
these are not slavishly followed, but rather are intended as a guide to
be tailored to suite individual project requirements.
In summary, BCI, while being a young company, has the critical mass of
expertise, knowledge and skills to ensure the successful and timely
implementation of the full range of ECM projects, both now and in the
long term.
